Ghana FA deploys military men at Bekwai for New Edubiase game

The Ghana Football Association have deployed uniform Military officers for 2021/22 Division One League game between New Edubiase United FC and Samertex FC.

The move was triggered by the unfortunate incident of violence between New Edubiase United and Bekwai Youth Football Academy, which saw club President of New Edubiase United Abdul Salam Yakubu and some players attacking match officials.
Due to this, the Ghana Football Association has requested for military presence in Bekwai.

“We wish to humbly request for your assistance in ensuring adequate security for an incident free event of our match day 15 game between New Edubiase United FC and Samertex FC at the Bekwai Gyamfi’s park”
