Kennedy Agyapong Explains Why Inaki and Nico Williams Do not Want to play for Ghana.

Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has blamed Ghana’s media for Inaki and Nico Williams’ refusal to play for the Black Stars.

In an interview with Happy FM, Kennedy Agyapong revealed that the two brothers love Ghana and want to play for the country, but that the critical character of the Ghanaian media is deterring them.

The Ghana Football Association approached Kennedy Agyapong to persuade the two players to play for the country, but they declined owing to their fear of the media, according to Kennedy Agyapong.

“Atletico Bilbao has two young boys that adore me.” He told Happy FM, “They’re brothers.”

“The Ghana Football Association came to meet me since I am a personal friend of theirs. They informed me that they want to play, but that the way we criticize these players, particularly the media, is too harsh, and that they are discouraged as a result.

Kennedy Agyapong also proposed that club owners be prevented from holding roles in the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in order for Ghana football to succeed.
